Charlotte finds out about the discovery of the Flight 815 wreckage while in Tunisia (where the polar bear was found). Based on the timeline of events on the island, and the Find 815 ARG the wreckage was found approximately in early December 2004. Why was there a Dharma polar bear in Tunisia, and why did Charlotte seem to recognise the Dharma logo? Both are questions for another time.
Sixth Dharma Initiative Test
Another test was released earlier in the week, again its just a series of 10 multiple choice questions. A ‘cheat’ was found early on, which allows you to get every question correct, and I’ll be honest if I didn’t use the cheat I think I might have only got one out of ten right. You can find out more about the quiz and the cheat here. Its also been announced that the “volunteer testing” ends October 7… maybe then they might feed us something more interesting than multiple choice tests.
So It Begins

Ok, so this is the last “Missing Piece” (and yes it took me a little longer than I hoped to get through them all). But this is definitely my favourite one, and its certainly the most Lost-like of them all.
The camera is moving through the grass, as though its looking for something, as its going along it comes across an open suitcase on the ground with clothes scattered everywhere. You can kind of hear the panting so you can assume at this point that we are looking from Vincent’s perspective (plus we’ve seen things from this view before).
Vincent moves on continuing to search, when there is a whistle from the distance. As Vincent approaches we see a familiar pair of white shoes… its Christian Shephard, he calls Vincent over. How does he know Vincent’s name, and how can Vincent see/hear him??
Christian tells Vincent that he needs him to go and find his son (Jack), he says “he’s over then in that bamboo forest, unconscious, I need you to go wake him up”, and he sends Vincent off. As Vincents runs off, the camera goes back to Christian who says “he has work to do”. I would assume that the “he” he refers to is Jack.

Fifth Dharma Initiative Test
Titled “Numeric Projection Evaluation” it was just a series of number sequences which you had to complete. The majority of them were really simple, like 1,3,5,7,?. There were a couple I had no idea how to work out, so I skipped them thinking I’d get a second look at them. Nope. Since the test was timed there was no real chance to google the answers either. Not that it matters. Kind of over the tests, I want something more interesting.
The Envelope

Unlike all the other Missing Pieces which were filmed specifically to be shown as “mobisodes”, this one is actually a deleted scene from “A Tale of Two Cities” (the season 3 premiere). It appears to be set just prior to the book club meeting that we see at the beginning of season 3.
As it begins there a smoke alarm going off and Juliet rushes into the kitchen where the muffins she was baking are burning, as she gets them out she grabs onto the pan and burns herself. The doorbell rings, and its Amelia (thanks Lostpedia)… I’m pretty sure the only time we’ve seen her before is in the season 3 premiere at the book club meeting. Anyway.
Amelia starts to question Juliet, she asks “its him isn’t it?”, Juliet knows who she means but responds “who?”, “Ben.”. Amelia asks if she invited him today, Juliet says that things have gotten awkward. Amelia asks Juliet if he finally told her how he felt (something we don’t end up finding out until later in season 3). Juliet says he didn’t say anything, that its just complicated.

New section added
I’ve noticed that quite a few people end up at this site after typing a LOST related question into Google, and since some of the questions seem interesting enough I’ve added a new section “Lost and Found” where I’ll pick out some of the questions and answer them (assuming I know, or can find the answer). Got a question you’d like to see answered? Email me!
What did Charlie have written on his hand?
In “Through the Looking Glass”, as the communication room filled with water Charlie wrote “Not Penny’s Boat” on his hand and pressed it against the window for Desmond to see. Then in “The Beginning of the End”, Charlie appears in a one of Hurley’s hallucinations, but this time when he presses his hand against the glass it says “They Need You.”
Fourth Dharma Initiative Test
Another 10 multiple choice questions, this time more like the sort of questions you might expect in an IQ test. I don’t know if the questions are random or not, might take it again to see if I get different questions. There was also a video which mentioned that we are about half way through the “volunteer assessment program”, and according to Lostpedia there will be 8 tests in total. Not sure what happens after that, but hopefully something interesting.
Jin Has a Temper-Tantrum on the Golf Course

The title of this piece sums it all up pretty well. Jin, Hurley and Michael are playing golf on the island. Jin is lining up a putt to win, and when he misses the putt Hurley congratulates Michael on winning and then Jin starts to throw his tantrum.
From Jin’s ranting it would appear that he’s just upset because no-one on the island understands him, he think they all pity him (or at leats that Hurley and Michael do) and he doesn’t like it. He just wants something to go right and to get of “this horrible island”. As Jin begins to calm down he’s just sitting there saying to himself “I’m so alone”.
Only two more ‘Missing Pieces’ to go, including the last one which I think is probably the best one. Its also been semi-confirmed that the ‘Missing Pieces’ will be one of the additional features on the Season 4 DVDs when they are released in a couple of months.
Third Dharma Initiative Test
Referred to as the “Dexterity and Attentiveness Evaluation” the third test involves moving a Dharma logo around on the screen to avoid colliding with four spheres that are moving around on the screen. The longer it goes on the faster they move and even with the cheat/glitch that was found to allow you to change the position of the logo to quickly avoid collisions, I still haven’t managed to get to 100 (the maximum score). I probably just need more sleep.
