When Kate read out Sawyer’s letter it isn’t initially clear that he wrote it, it sounds more like it is referring to the storyline that is being played out in his flashback.
Sawyer’s position?
Sayid says “Sawyer’s position in the jungle” yet he didn’t know (as far as we are aware) that Kate was no longer there so why wouldn’t he say “Kate’s position” when it was Kate who was meant to set of the flare?
Black and White
There seems to be a definite dark/light, good/evil theme with the discovery of the black and white stones with Adam and Eve, along with Locke’s talk with Walt about Backgammon and the light and dark sides.
Where is he?
So if Jack’s Dad isn’t in the coffin where is he? Could it really be possible that he is actually alive somewhere on the Island, maybe with the Others?
Eyeland
“I’ve looked into the eye of this island and what I saw was beautiful” – Locke. Clearly referencing his previous encounter with the monster.
Face to face
Locke comes face to face with the ‘monster’ yet we don’t get an explanation about what he saw.
Purgatory?
“3 days ago we all died” – Jack. Is it any wonder that all the purgatory theories started.
The Radio Message
The French womans message is up to iteration number 17294531 when they first pick it up which means the loop has been running for approximately 16 years and 5 months.
The one with the marshall
If Sawyer found the gun and badge on the Marshall, is it possible he could of found something that would have told him that Kate was the fugitive being transported.
Polar Bear?
Presumably the polar bear that Sawyer shoots is one of the bears that were held in the Dharma cages seen in season 3.
