PREVIOUSLY ON LOST

Anyone else notice that Locke seems to have had a LOT of different jobs, I’m pretty sure that each time he has a flashback episode hes working in a different job. So far some of the jobs have been, his position at the box company, an at a toy store and as an house inspector.

When Hurley visits Leonard Sims to find out the origins of “the numbers”, Leonard tells him that he got them from a man call Sam Toomy, who’s in Australia. We then find out that Leonard and Sam were stationed together at a listening post in the Pacific when they picked up a transmission that was repeating the numbers over and over again and that it was about 16 years ago (presumably before Rousseau changed the transmission).

We find out that Hurley is “now the proud owner of a box company”, just so happens this is the same “box company” that Locke worked for.

When Locke asks Walt why he burnt the raft, Walt says that he likes being on the island, Locke responds “so do I”. So is it really surprising that when the there was the chance for people to leave the island via the submarine that he blew it up.

When Jin visits some government minister to “deliver a message” from Mr Paik, Hurley is shown on the news on the TV that the minister’s daughter is watching in the background.

Sawyer realises that he had met Jack’s father when he was in Australia after Jack says “that why the Red Sox will never win the World Series”, the same thing that Christian had said when drinking with Sawyer in Australia.

When Sawyer goes out looking for his ‘stolen’ tarp, he hears more whispering. The whisper sounds something like “now go back around” and shortly there after he is chased by a boar. Were the whispers giving instructions? If so, who were they giving them to Sawyer or the boar? Then at the end of the episode after Sawyer shoots who he thinks is the “real” Sawyer, the dieing man says “it’ll come back around”.

Apart from Charlie shooting Ethan and taking away the survivors first chance of getting any ‘answers’ not much else occurred in this episode.

While reading through Clarie’s diary Charlie finds that Claire has been dreaming about the ‘Black Rock’. When Sayid encountered the French woman she also mentioned the ‘Black Rock’. The way that they are all talking about it makes it sound like it is actually a rock, or at least some sort of geographical landmark, however as we find out later its not a rock at all its an old ship…and it shipwrecked a long way inland…

“if there was one person I would put my absolute faith in to save us all it’d be John Locke” – Charlie, how fitting that is when you watch the latest trailer for Season 4…
